So, once you have started with your University life with full energy and you want to make best out of it, you need to gear up and take initiatives for yourself. This time is going to be probably the best time of your life. Making the fullest of what you experience in the journey will help you develop a crisp personality. Well, to some this might sound absurd and obvious, but making Friends will help a lot in building a better personality, and creating a kind of aura with which you are able to interact with anyone. Eating in mess, talk with the guy sitting next to you, talk with the person serving you meals, talk with mess worker. Knock the next door and interact with your neighbours in hostel. Greet your hostel guard and be friendly to them. Don’t shy to talk and interact with people around. Believe me, this will help you in future and it also removes your hesitation.
Take active participation in the events during the 1st year is a very interesting idea; no matter how much ever contemptible some events may sound to you that will be certainly better than doing nothing. So, take initiative and be part of such events. Join various Committees: There are singing, dancing, training & placement cell, environment care, social activities and many more committees in a college. And, if you think you’re interested in particular field does exist in form of committee in your college or university, then its leeway. Interacting with people of similar interest and being a part of that committee is an exciting thing. The students need to be careful that most of the college or Universities are strict about 75% attendance criteria, be aware or else you might get detained. Trying to build your interest in technical could be very helpful. Doing lots of technical practice could be a better option and it helps in developing skill set. This skill will show the results once you get into final year when you will see most of the companies will demand technically sound students.
Important considerations
- study for at least three hour, other than this you can play indoor and outdoor games.
- Prepare in advance for you upcoming classes and exams , so at last you can’t feel burden.
- Be interactive with your professor or faculties during class and always clear your doubts from them.
- Join a club/committee which interests you and also help to develop your personality.
- Don’t miss out fun with friends.
- Explore the city get to know about the place you live.
- Make the good use of internet.
- Follow books rather than online content or soft copies.
- Be active in sports and other cultural activities.
- Get along with seniors, Learn from them.

It is up to you, how you set your far out and what the things that fall under that far out .Well, Engineering is not about how better you can score, most importantly; it’s about how to see things. Personal experience basically covers most of the things which help build you as a leader, teacher, impressario, and thinker and so it is a way important than your grades. It is extremely important to consider or see yourself as a student, till the end it doesn’t matter if you are in your 1st year or 4th year .
I am sure that you will be waiting for the day when you get into engineering and surely you must be excited because this is totally a different aspects of life and during your engineering journey you will learn more than just subjects. “Scientists dream about doing great things. Engineers do them”
